CARAG is Coventry Asylum and Refugee Action Group, it is a group mainly made up of those who have been or are Asylum Seekers and meets every Wednesday afternoon at the Peace House.

In March they organised a day conference called “Welcoming Stories” which shared stories of migration, told of  being welcomed and unwelcomed, that expressed something of the here but not quite here nature of migration. It could have been a day that lapsed into lament but it didn’t because throughout it all hope shone through and stories were told and heard.
